The school moves at European Mobility Week

From September 16th to 22nd, the twentieth edition of the Setmana Europea de la Mobilitat was held, this year under the motto of "Walk with us".

This proposal is part of the European Mobility Week events in which more than 2,800 cities in 51 countries organize activities to raise awareness about a more sustainable, safe and healthy urban mobility model. By changing the way we move we can increase our levels of physical activity, contribute to improve the quality of the air we breathe in cities and help prevent traffic accidents.

In our school we reflect on the purpose of the Setmana Europea de la Mobilitat with the intention of stimulating positive citizen behavior among our students, which helps to promote better air quality, prevent traffic accidents, reduce the emission of gases caused by greenhouse effect and make a more rational consumption of energy resources.

Our intention is to sensitize children about the environmental impact of transport and that they can know the different alternatives that exist in this regard. Therefore, we promote actions where pedestrian mobility is a priority.

In addition, following our way of acting, we enhance the encounter between our students, their city and their inhabitants, enjoying the cultural, social and natural heritage of Vilassar de Mar and its surroundings. We always do it trying to create an active, healthy and creative educational environment.

In this edition, on the occasion of the celebration of the Setmana Europea de la Mobilitat and starting from the areas of Tutoring and Physical Education and Health Education, in our school we have carried out the following actions:
